Some of the tools I use on everyday basis.

Software

Obsidian - Where all my thinking happens. I think of it as a mental workshop. Place that gets dirty - lots of unfinished notes, half-thought, what not. It's free. Works with local markdown files, no lock-in, endless flexibility. It is so good that I wanted to pay them something. This website is built from Obsidian notes.

Google Docs - for taking quick daily notes.

Cursor/Antigravity/Claude Code - For all vide coding.

GitHub - Coding repo.

X - Probably the only place on internet to get an info in almost real time. I try to limit my time using it though.

Hardware

Macbook Air - The best laptop.

Vivobarefoot - The best shoes.

Philosophy

I prefer tools that are:

  • Simple over feature-rich
  • Local-first over cloud-dependent
  • Beautifully designed
  • Open formats over proprietary lock-in, though I make exception when something is really good.

Most productivity gains come from using fewer tools well, not more tools poorly.
